To BioWare's credit, this was also mostly fixed a few weeks after release. Many praise its gameplay and combat, and some even enjoy its story, which many still agree is not on par with the original trilogy. Mass Effect Andromeda's PC version sits at a 72 critic/5.0 user score. It's notable that the Steam version is slightly higher than its original critic score, but even more impressive that it stands far above its user score. This is the best point of comparison here, as both are related to user scores, and it highlights a stark contrast in Andromeda's initial reception until now.
